Trump predicts he'll face Biden as Dem presidential contender

President Donald Trump predicted Friday that he will face former Vice President Joe Biden in the 2020 presidential election, writing on Twitter that aside from Biden and Sen. Bernie Sanders, the Democratic field is "fading fast."

Earlier Friday morning, in the midst of touting his trade strategy amid an escalating trade war with China, Trump attacked Biden over his role with the Obama Administration and its handling of trade negotiations with China.

"Tariffs will make our Country MUCH STRONGER, not weaker. Just sit back and watch! In the meantime, China should not renegotiate deals with the U.S. at the last minute," he

Trump has been adamant Biden would be his opponent since the former vice president officially announced his run in April.
