Two people in Florida have died from the coronavirus and two more have been added to the presumptive positive list, the state Department of Health said late Friday.
A person in Santa Rosa County and a person in Lee County died. Both had been on international trips, the department said. The Lee County victim was in their 70s, the department said.
The Department of Health also identified two men in Broward County, one 65, one 75, as presumptive positive cases of coronavirus. They will remain isolated until cleared by public health officials.
The Florida Department of Health said it is working closely with the patients, potential close contacts of each case, and health care providers to isolate and monitor persons who might have been exposed to the virus.
